ZAGOROCHORIA

Zagorochoria is a group of traditional stone villages near the capital of Epirus, Ioannina. The unique architecture, the unspoiled nature, the Vikos Gorge – a UNESCO Natural Heritage Monument and the delicious pies of the region make Zagorochoria a very interesting destination. Despite being a popular tourist area, Zagorochoria manages to keep its special colour and charm unchanged. It is a destination that combines adventure, tranquility and culture. This excursion is made by ferry boat from Corfu to Igoumenitsa  Both the sea and road routes are enjoyable, passing through beautiful Greek nature.

METEORA MONASTERIES

Meteora is one of the most impressive monuments one can visit. It is a set of towering dark-coloured rocks in the region of Thessaly. Monasteries have been built on the peaks of some of the rocks, making them the second largest monastic complex in Greece after Mount Athos. Meteora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The excursion to Meteora is made by ferry boat from Corfu to Igoumenitsa and then via the Egnatia motorway. Both the sea and road routes are enjoyable, passing through beautiful Greek nature.

ANCIENT NICOPOLIS

Visiting Ancient Nicopolis is a mesmerizing journey into history. Founded by Emperor Octavian Augustus to celebrate his victory in 31 BC, the site near Preveza reveals impressive ruins that once formed this thriving Roman city. MOUNT ATHOS (Agio Oros)
